Where it all started

For years, I operated in high-performance environments—engineering, energy, infrastructure—where success was measured in deals closed, projects secured, and problems solved.

I did well. From leading multi-million-pound bids to breaking into new markets, I delivered results. But I often did it on autopilot—switched on technically, but disconnected emotionally. Over time, I realised that I was performing, but not always present. I was surviving, not truly thriving.

That moment of awareness changed everything.

What it means to switch on

Being a Switch-on Leader isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing things differently. It’s a shift in mindset—a decision to lead with intention, not just execution.

It means slowing down to speed up.
It means leading from clarity, not chaos.
And most importantly, it means showing up fully—for yourself, your team, and your vision.

Through coaching, I rewired my thinking. I started leading with presence, resilience, and empathy. That’s when I began to thrive—not just at work, but in life.
