I started in the high-stakes world of industrial design and construction, working across the full lifecycle of complex facilities. I quickly moved beyond technical tasks to take on budget and management responsibilities, leading subcontractors and commissioning teams.

This is where I learned that technical mastery alone doesn't move projects forward. People do.

I spent nearly a decade leading technical expertise across cross-functional teams, acting as the bridge between engineering requirements and commercial outcomes.

This was my first major encounter with "Identity Lag", learning that the habits of a great engineer are often the very things that hinder a great manager. The precision that built your reputation starts to hold you back.
